I would love to share some of the beautiful pictures from the engagement photo shoot of Chelsea & Noah.  When I asked where they wanted to go for their photo shoot they said some place very special.  Se we met at a Winery in Napa and then I followed them down a long swampy road and this is where we ended up.  I probally would never be able to find it again!  Wow,  when we got there I had goosebumps, I was like a child on Christmas morning, it was a fantastic place to photograph a very special couple in love!

 

 

 

 

 

My Daughter Alyssa’s Wedding

My daughters wedding is over, it was beautiful, and it went by so….fast!  The wedding was held at Garden Valley Ranch (www.gardenvalley.com) in Petaluma, a gorgous site for any special occasion.   We are so thrilled to have our new son-in-law Matt  join the family.  He is the 2nd son I always wanted!    Now I have all of the memories of the day and the pictures that I will always treasure! 

The Vollert Family

I wanted to share some portraits from one of my favorite families that I have photographed for many years.  We were so hoping for a warm sunny afternoon at the coast as we headed west from Petaluma, we got out to the coast and it was not foggy and cold, it was so beautiful, we couldn’t believe it.   The kids are Nick, Lauren and Luke, they are the best kids ever, and their Mom and Dad, Katie & Tom are an awesome couple, I adore this family like they are my own!

I enjoyed photographing little Ashley for her Modeling Portfolio.  It was such a beautiful day at Luther Burbank Gardens in Santa Rosa.  As you can see many of the flowers were still in bloom.  I hope you enjoy these pictures of this adorable little girl!

I had the opportunity to photograph Christian and his Mom and Dad a couple of days ago at Sonoma State University. He was such an adorable little boy! I will be photographing his Mom and Dads wedding in two weeks, so watch for the upcoming wedding pictures on my blog!

Nicole & Husband in San Francisco

This couple modeled for us during my “How to take Stunning Pictures” Photography class in San Francisco.

Nicole is one of my photography students and offered to bring her husband to our class field trip to San Francisco. Her and her husband were very photographic and relaxed during the photo shoot. After we left the Legion Of Honor Hall we went to the Palace of Fine Arts to photograph one of San Francisco’s most beautiful buildings in the evening light.

The Wedding of Gary & Michele

I would love to share some of the beautiful pictures from Michele & Gary’s wedding with you. They were married at Flying Cloud Farm in Petaluma. This wedding was so much fun! The bride and groom and all of the bridal party were the best ever! It was a super hot day but that didn’t stop anyone from enjoying all the great moments as the day went on. Sonoma Mountain High School 2009

These are some of the awesome kids that I photographed at Sonoma Mountain High school in Petaluma. We stayed right on the campus using the natural settings of the trees and garden in the back of the school. I would like to say that these kids are the most grateful high school kids I have photographed in a long time, they all really appreciated the time that I gave to each of them and let me know with their “Thank You’s” that I received through out the day.

A couple of weeks have gone by and it is time to write in my blog. I wanted to share some beautiful pictures with you to celebrate the gorgeous spring that we encounter in Sonoma County California every year. The hills in our surrounding areas turn a lovely shade of emerald green, however once the rain stops they only last a couple of months. Over the weekend I had an opportunity every photographer would dream about. About 25 miles west of Petaluma I went to an enormous ranch in Pt. Reyes Station and photographed Alisha & J.D among the beauty of it all. J.D.’s grandparents own the 1,000 acres of beautiful land filled with green rolling hills, meadows, creeks, huge rock formations and more. I spent most of the day with them, photographing along 100′s of cows, and capturing a real cowboy working his land, but the best part was getting the chance to photograph a beautiful couple celebrating their love for each other and the beginning of their new life together.
